Girls grab your bouquets and boys get the corsages ready; it’s dance time! The annual Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the Dan Haskins center. Tickets will be sold at all lunches in the cafeteria for $8, and a school ID must be shown for purchase. The dance entails formal attire, and water will be provided.

“I’m really excited about dressing up, since it is my first formal school dance,” freshman Julia Whitehorn said. “I’m expecting to have a great time and to make a lot of memories. Hopefully no embarrassing ones though!”

The theme of the dance this year is “There’s no place like Homecoming” from the Wizard of Oz. Get your ticket at lunch and follow the yellow brick road to a great dance.
