In a Nutshell
Guns or not, there’s no foolproof plan can make for perfect school safety. Even if schools where 100 percent safe, the epidemic of gun-related deaths in America would continue. So, whether the problem should be solved with a 9mm Glock strapped to the hip or more stringent gun limitations, the two sides will no doubt continue to shoot it out.
“This isn’t supposed to be a place where we are bringing weapons into combat other weapons,” history teacher Chuck Zach said. “This is a place where we are should be fostering the desire to want to learn, not becoming a shooting gallery.”
