Story by Salem Karr, staff writer

If you enjoy a murder mystery with a twist, you’ll love “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” This play focuses on 15 year old detective and mathematical genius, Christopher Boone. While struggling with an unspecified mental illness, Christopher is determined to solve the murder of a neighbor’s dog, Wellington. Christopher must fight the disapproval of his father and many others.

“The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” has been performed countless times, including Broadway, but every production is done differently. TexRep has produced many shows over the years, each one being amazingly different than the original, and there is no doubt that they will do the same with this show.

I look forward to seeing how they bring this story to life and how they portray these in-depth characters. If you want a great show with amazing characters, I suggest going to see “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at TexRep.
