The TISD Volunteers in Public Schools will be awarding ten $1,000 scholarships to seniors at Texas High. To qualify, seniors must be committed to a college and be in the top 50 percent of their class. Applicants will be evaluated by a scholarship committee on the following criteria: 60 percent community service, 20 percent character, 10 percent academics and 10 percent leadership skills. Applications can be found in the academic advisors’ offices and should be returned no later than April 3.

Applications can be found in the front office.
