Student Council will hold a club night on Monday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Most clubs will have a booth, and students have the chance to talk with the sponsors and find an organization that is right for them.

“Club night is an opportunity for all the clubs and organizations on campus to come and advertise their clubs, and to have games and give out information about their club to any student at Texas High,” StuCo sponsor Susan Waldrep said.

With more than 50 clubs, students have the opportunity to gain valuable skills.

“I would like to join clubs at Texas High to get the full high school experience that I’ve heard so much about,” freshman Jalena McDermott said. “I also think it’s a great way to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people.”
