The annual club drive will be held this upcoming week on Sept. 17-20 in the cafeteria. Students will be given the opportunity to learn more about the clubs offered at Texas High School and will have the chance to join any of their preference.

“I am currently in Rosebuds and I’m joining BPA [Business Professionals of America], Library Club and Art Club. I am excited for BPA because it sounds extremely interesting and I’m excited to learn all about it,” junior Bailey Reinsch said. “I’m joining Library Club and art club at the club drive this week. I want to join the Library Club because you get to read books and get to talk about it with other peers who read, too. I’m also ready for Art Club. I’ve always enjoyed art, and it seems like it’s going to be a fun club to be apart of.”

There will be different tables set up for the multiple clubs that will allow students to sign up. This is a great opportunity for students to find a way to be more involved and meet new people with similar interests.

You can find tables set up in the cafeteria for the Art Club, Multicultural Club, Key Club, Student Council along with numerous others, including brand new clubs. As we continue into the school year, don’t be afraid to branch out into the clubs that our school offers, make this year one to remember.
