Choir to compete in Solo and Ensemble

The choir will compete in the 4A Solo and Ensemble competition on Feb. 18 at Texas A&M-Commerce.

They have been working hard on their solos for this competition. They had to choose their songs on three levels: one, two or three (one being the hardest).

They will compete in front of a judge with hopes of receiving a score of a one, which is the highest rating.

Emily Cook, Shakebria Cridell, Ariel Cullom, Maeghan Dickson, Samantha Fincher, Vincent Flieder, Carissa Fowler, Chelsea Fowler, Krevon Franklin, Peter Garrett, Roichelle Gatewood, Kuturah Gavin, Hannah Green, Tracy Henderson, Casey Hitchcock, Tanner Howard, Ashley James, Brittany Johnson, Kendra Johnson, Amber Jones, Tianna King, Marissa Livingston, Hunter Llyod, Taylor McKnight, Laqualynn Miles, Billie Morton, Emily Orr, Brittany Peacock, Tori Perez, Courtney Ray, Destiny Roberts, Brityni Robinson, Shakayla Scott, Taylor Shipp, Alex Simpson, Benjamin Simpson, Cassidy Sorenson, Deirdre Stewart, Michelle Stiger, Kellie Taylor, Coldy Wade, Lynn Walker, Kiauna Williams, and Jenny Wyrick.

Casey is a senior photographer and a third-year newspaper writer. She is also involved in her youth group, French Club, Green Team, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Girl Scouts, Quill & Scroll and takes piano/voice lessons. She enjoys writing, reading, photography, singing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. She loves her two cats, her two dogs, and her new hedgehog, Little Foot. Casey spends any free time she has doing her massive amounts of AP homework, and she’s so excited about her final year of high school.
