Hold tight to your faux tiaras and get ready for a night of glittering dresses and megawatt smiles.

The annual Miss THS pageant is right around the corner, starting at 7 p.m. in the Sullivan Performing Arts Theater this Saturday, Nov. 7.

There will be a total of 15 girls, representing many of the school’s diverse organizations, competing for the title, the crown and the numerous prizes.

Many of the girls are first timers.

“I wanted to do it during my freshman year but I felt like it wasn’t for me,” junior Kushayla Jackson said. “I was the girl who stayed to herself and didn’t get into the crowd. But this year I was like ‘You know what? I’ll go ahead and do it’ and I’m pretty glad I did because it’s really fun.”

Tickets can be purchased for $5 at the door.
