Fans, coaches, players and fantasy owners are all in disbelief: Aaron Rodgers, arguably the current best quarterback in the league, is most likely out for the season. The Kansas City Chiefs’ undefeated streak comes to an end and Colin Kaepernick files a grievance accusing NFL owners of collusion. Interesting, right?

Aaron Rodgers Out for the Season:

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, will probably be out for the season due to a broken collarbone.

Rodgers is currently seen by some as the best quarterback in the league and many fantasy football owners chose him as their first pick this year. Unfortunately for Green Bay, he’s their franchise player. Without Rodgers, Green Bay’s season is pretty much over and any hope for a decent playoff run is out the window.

Green Bay’s offense relied completely on Rodgers’ ability to sling the ball and march them down the field. However, with a backup quarterback who is considerably less talented than Rodgers, Green Bay’s game plan and playbook will have to change if they want any chance to make something good out of this unfavorable season.

Kansas City’s Undefeated Streak Is Over:

The Kansas City Chiefs’ undefeated season has come to an end.

It didn’t really come as a surprise to many that the Chiefs lost because an undefeated season rarely occurs. However, not many people expected that loss to come from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The key factor that contributed to a Steelers win is their outstanding defense, which is a top defense in the league right now. With a defense that includes players such as Stephon Tuitt, Ryan Shazier and Joe Haden, the Steelers were able to limit the Chiefs rushing attack by holding Kareem Hunt to only 21 yards and no touchdowns on 9 carries.

If the Chiefs want to make it to the Super Bowl, they need to learn how to play when their run game isn’t as effective as it used to be because they will play some tough defenses on the way to the championship. The run game won’t always be there to fall back on. Although, if you’re a fan of the Chiefs, you don’t really have much to worry about.

Colin Kaepernick Accuses NFL Owners of Collusion:

Without Rodgers, Green Bay’s season is pretty much over and any hope for a decent playoff run is out the window.

Colin Kaepernick is a well-known name among NFL fans across the nation. Kaepernick kneeled during the national anthem last season as a form of “peaceful protest” against “police brutality against black people and other people of color.”

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said.

Despite the fact that many experts believe that Kaepernick is better than many other backup quarterbacks in the league who currently have jobs, Kaepernick remains unemployed. As a result, Kaepernick made the decision to file a grievance, accusing NFL owners of colluding against him. However, despite how obvious it may seem to some people, it is difficult to prove this to be true in a courtroom. In order for it to be concluded that NFL owners did indeed collude against Kaepernick, one would have to provide some form of evidence that shows that there was an agreement between multiple NFL owners to not hire Kaepernick. As of now, this evidence has not yet come to the surface.

“Each team makes individual decisions on how they can improve their team,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “If they see an opportunity to improve their team, they do it. They evaluate players. They evaluate systems and coaches. They all make those individual decisions to try and improve their team.”

Whether or not you believe that Kaepernick is being mistreated by the NFL, you can be sure that this latest action by Kaepernick may possibly be the final nail in the coffin of his NFL career.
