The good, the bad and the ugly

With the playoffs edging closer and closer each week, here’s some takeaways from week 10 in the NFL.
New Orleans Saints Continue to Dominate:
The New Orleans Saints continue to show out after a monster blowout win against the Buffalo Bills. The final score was 47-10.
While the Saints’ offense is lead by one of the best quarterbacks of all-time, Drew Brees, their passing game was not the story this week. Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara, the two main running backs for New Orleans, ran (literally “ran”) the show against the Bills totalling a combined 237 yards and four touchdowns on 33 attempts.
With a lethal offensive attack and a promising defense, the New Orleans Saints are going to be a scary threat in the playoffs this year.
Los Angeles Rams Trample the Houston Texans:
The Los Angeles Rams are now 7-2 after defeating the Houston Texans 33-7.
Jared Goff, the quarterback for the Rams, threw for 355 yards and three touchdowns in one of the best game of his career. One of the Rams’ receivers, Robert Woods, was Goff’s main target; he caught eight passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
While the Rams played like a top-tier offense against one of the better defenses in the NFL, we have to remember that Houston has been struggling immensely after the loss of their young-and-upcoming-quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Texans are now 0-2 without Watson and Texans fans can expect that trend to continue.
With the Houston Texans going down and the Los Angeles Rams looking like AFC contenders, there will definitely be something to keep track of.
With a lethal offensive attack and a promising defense, the New Orleans Saints are going to be a scary threat in the playoffs this year.

Winless No Longer:
The San Francisco 49ers, who were once winless, are winless no longer. The 49ers reached a milestone of their 2017-2018 season by defeating the New York Giants 31-21, getting their first win.
The 49ers recently traded for the New England Patriots’ backup quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo; however, Garoppolo did not play this week. In his place, a rookie quarterback named C.J. Beathard played extremely well. Beathard completed an astounding 76 percent of his passes for 288 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, along with one rushing touchdown.
Because of his lack of experience and the addition of Jimmy G, Beathard may not be the 49ers starting quarterback for much longer. However, he will definitely be put into consideration for the job after this outstanding performance.
