Helen Clark Hays is approaching her senior year of high school. Along with three years of high school experience, she is starting her third year of being on the Texas High School Yearbook staff. This year she holds the position of Editor-in-Chief. She is also a fourth-year member of the Texas HighSteppers drill team. She looks forward to sparkling on the football field during halftime as she kicks high in her hat and boots. She will be serving as Senior Lieutenant alongside five other officers. She is involved in Leadership and Student Council, where she serves as the Student Body Vice President. Other clubs she is involved with include Rosebuds and National Honor Society. Helen Clark has recently been elected as an officer on the board of Rosebuds Junior Garden Club. With in-school and out-of-school activities, Helen Clark will have a lot on her plate this year, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She will begin her 15th year of study at Judith McCarty School of Dancing where she practices ballet, tap, jazz, Spanish and lyrical. She is also an assistant at her studio for the younger dance students. With things starting to go back to normal, Helen Clark wants to make as many memories with her friends as possible her senior year.
