Jane Rounds, better known as Janie, is embracing her “yerd” label as she enters her first year on yearbook staff. Her wild, fun-loving personality is taking on the halls of Texas High for a second time, and she is still getting used to calling herself a “sophomore.” She has spent two years as a student athlete on the varsity tennis team, and you can bet that she will be making an appearance in her white visor at least 90 percent of the time–ask anyone she knows. She is also an involved member of Student Council and has been elected to an officer position for both ninth and tenth grade years. Outside of school, her priorities lie with her family, and of course, closest friendships. The overwhelming amount of McAlister's meals she and her friends have eaten are too many to count but will always be just as special with each visit.
