I believe it shouldn’t be considered disrespectful because the men and women that died for us died for our right to protest. By not protesting what you disagree with or want to be changed then you would be disrespectful since their death would mean nothing to the rights we would have as Americans.
Honestly. This is literally not even a choice. If you want to paricipate in a school sporting event, then stand for the national anthem. Pay respects for the men and women who died for your freedom.
