Lying on the ground, excruciating pain shooting up his leg, thoughts of his season, or maybe even his whole career, potentially being over, tears streaming down his face.

It never seems to fail. Every season in the NFL involves at least one or two major players getting injured and this season is no different. It started last week with rookie running back Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings tearing his ACL which ended his season. This week, two key players, Odell Beckham and J.J. Watt, played their last down of football for a while.

HELP WANTED: New York Giants Are Now In Need of Wide Receivers:

The New York Giants seemed to have the best wide receivers in the league including the one-handed catch sensation, Odell Beckham Jr., accompanied by Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Dwayne Harris. However, in a surprising twist of events, those four guys are now all injured. New York is already winless this season. Their morale is already at an all-time low and major injuries like this make it even worse. With an aging quarterback,Eli Manning, a struggling offensive line, and now the loss of their four main receivers, New York will probably have the first draft pick of 2018.

J.J. Watt Out for the Season:

The Houston Texans seem to be in the headlines every week this year, but this week the headline is not a good one. The best defensive player in the league and the leader of the team, J.J. Watt, is out for the season with a fractured shin. Houston still has one of the best defenses in the league, however the loss of Watt hurts a lot. The team will still most likely make the playoffs and they still have the weapons to be contenders there, but it will be a major uphill battle from here on out.

Kansas City Still Undefeated:

The Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated. With five wins and no losses, the Chiefs are looking like the team to beat, but the question that everyone wants to know is how long will their streak last? They have a running back, Kareem Hunt, who is the league leader in rushing yards, great receivers like Jeremy Maclin and Tyreek Hill, and one of the better defenses in the NFL. Kansas City doesn’t seem to struggle much in many areas and they seem to be a great all-around team, but it’s still possible that this could all be a fluke and that Kansas City is not as good as they look. The main thing that Kansas City needs to do to keep up their streak is to keep playing the way they’ve been playing and not let their success get to their heads because the one time that happens, it could turn out to be a deadly mistake.
