A former Texas High School football coach is accused of online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony, for which he can face 2-10 years in prison.
Police arrested 26-year-old Te’Vailance Hunt on Dec. 3, 2025, after school officials notified police of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a 16-year-old female student and Hunt. The former Texas High School football standout-turned coach is currently out of jail on a $100,000 bond.
Court documents show that through the use of social media, Hunt requested inappropriate behaviors and nude photographs of the student. In messages to the student, Hunt commented on the student’s looks, further asked about her sexual experiences and tried to coerce her to meet with him on two separate occasions in November.
According to a probable cause affidavit, during the investigation, the police also received a Texarkana Independent School District personnel file for Hunt, which revealed an internal investigation into Hunt requesting that another student follow him on social media in August 2025, shortly after he began working as a coach in TISD.
Police verified the victim’s claims using evidence obtained from search warrants of the victim’s and Hunt’s social media accounts.
