Courtesy of the offensive line, the Tigers were able to end the first quarter strong by catching a lead on Mount Pleasant, with a score of 14-3.
“I think offense showed up to the challenge,” running back Ahmad Moore said. “We had a good first two drives, and we started the game plan by just taking what the defense gave us.”
Moving into halftime, the Tigers finished the first half of the game with a score of 14-9. Despite receiving resistance from Mount Pleasant, the Tigers successfully triumphed through the majority of the plays within the first half.
