On Dec. 18, the Rosebuds Garden Club put on their annual Teacher’s Tea. The girls of the club provided decorations, sandwiches, snacks and desserts.

“I think the Teacher’s Tea went great,” president Elizabeth Tullis said. “All of the girls contributed, and everyone put in great effort working the lunches.”

Not only is the tea a great bonding experience for the club members, it is also very appreciated by teachers.

“I think it’s great that Rosebuds does this for their teachers,” teacher Linda Teeters said. “As usual it was very good. I loved the pizza snacks, and the cheese ball was delicious. The food was delicious and the hospitality was wonderful.”

After a stressful semester of tests, homework and projects, the Rosebuds girls enjoy the time they have to show appreciation for their teachers, and teachers appreciate the love shown by Rosebuds.

“We do it as a way to show our appreciation to the teachers,” Tullis said. “It’s really nice to see all of them, and give them a good lunch. They always say how good of a job we do, and that’s super rewarding.”
