The following band students earned placement in the Region IV All-Region Jazz Band at auditions held in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday:

Connor Watson – 1st chair tenor saxophone; Kenny Hammett – 1st chair trumpet; Ryan Tellez – 3rd chair trumpet; Crystal Murphy – 2nd chair tenor trombone; Priscella Butler – 3rd chair tenor trombone; Troy Quaid – 4th chair tenor trombone; Caylon Nicholas – 1st chair bass trombone; Jahmal Camp – 2nd chair drums; Charles Lee – 1st chair guitar; Andrew Mack – 1st chair bass guitar; Bass Deese – 1st chair piano.

They are directed by Don Colquitt. The All-Region Jazz Clinic will be held at Mt. Pleasant High School on Dec. 11.
