Funeral services for senior Virginia Grace Comer will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Mark Posey officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Because of Grace’s love of color and vibrant personality, the family is asking those attending to wear a vibrant color to honor her memory.

Grace died Aug. 29 in an automobile accident.

Grace was born Aug. 19, 2001, in Texarkana, Texas. After graduation, she planned to attend the University of North Texas to study art and become an art teacher.

Survivors include her parents, Russell and Tonya Comer; one sister, Elaina Stone of Russellville, Arkansas; one brother, Noah Comer of Nash, Texas; her grandmother, Sandra Ward of Redwater, Texas; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Texas High School Art Department.
