Ndidi Duru
Senior Chardai Adley

Chardai Adley.

Senior band member. Chef. Diva.

Not only is Chardai full of surprises, but she really enjoys making ham sandwiches.

This is Chardai Adley.

Q:Is there anything interesting about you?

A: I’m a plus-sized girl, and I can do a perfect split.

Q: Anything else interesting?

A: I used to sell candy before we weren’t allowed to. During October, whatever money I got from the sales, I would give to cancer research.

Q: What’s your most embarrassing moment?

A: Freshman year I was trying to get to band before 8:30, so I didn’t have to hear Mr. Deese’s lecture about being late. It was raining and I was running down the hill and just fell. There were so many people around.

Q: What’s your dream job?

A: I want to be a judge in New York.

Q: If you could swim in any food, what would it be?

A: Chocolate pudding.

Q: Who’s your celebrity crush?

A: Ray Rice. He just played in the Super Bowl for the Baltimore Ravens.

Q: What animal do you hate most?

A: Oh my gosh, I hate cats. I think it’s because I used to be allergic to them.

Q: If you could be any animal, which one would you be?

A: I would definitely be a fish, so I could go find Nemo.

Q: What’s your favorite fashion statement?

A: I really like the ‘90s fashion. Some of the stuff is actually starting to come back in style.

Q: If you had one superpower, what would it be?

A: I would have the ability to do things quickly and right. Like if my mom asked me to do the dishes, I would do them really fast and get them done.

When she’s not spending every waking hour at the school, she enjoys leisurely reading in her hammock with her cats. Another fun hobby she has is crying in Room 50 about all the things she has to do. Her favorite things are Arnold Palmer and Chipotle, so if you’re in need of a favor, you know what to do.
