Contestants announced for final round of talent show

The results from voting in the opening rounds of Tigers Got Talent are in. The top 12 acts were announced on TigerVision today and will move on to compete in the final round Dec. 15.

The acts that are advancing to the finals are Brianna Sellers and Cheyanne Jester, The Zierre Spencer Project, Lincoln Davis, Devonte Hamilton, Valerie Ward, Peter Garrett, Bailey Gravitt, Colby Gillespie, Destini Gladney, Jasmine Harris, Sara Rogers and Katie Hawkins and Skyler Hight.

The winner of Tigers Got Talent will be determined by judges votes and popular vote and will receive a $300 prize.

The finals will be held on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. in the John Thomas Theatre. Tickets are $5 at the door.

As a singer, he’s horrible. As a dancer, he nauseating. As a journalist, he’s one of the three co-editors in chief. Senior Taylor Potter is entering his third year of writing for the Tiger Times, and his second year of bossing around younger staff members. He is a member of NHS, Quill and Scroll and is a 2013 Al Neuharth Free Spirit Scholar. While his singing, dancing, acting, fighting, whistling, snapping and gymnastics skills are mediocre, his ability to write and speak in a Batman voice is unmatched.
