BPA wins at leadership conference

The Business Professionals of America recently brought home a win from the Leadership Conference in Frisco, Texas, at Heritage High School. The state qualifiers will be competing Feb. 27- March 2 in Houston.

State Qualifiers are Nick Sehy, first place Economic Research Project– Individual; Linette Westley, third place Computer Network Technology; Jordan Stovall, third place Systems Administration Using Cisco; Nick Sehy and Chris Keith, first place Global Marketing Team.

State Alternatives are Keyarra Harfield and Breana Hayes, third place Website Design Team.

Madeline, Maddie, or Mads, is the print co-editor in chief with her good pal, Robert Hoover, this year on the newspaper staff. As a senior, she enjoys smiling and spending most of her time in the wonderful, room 50. Aside from newspaper, she likes to read on rainy days and ponder life while playing with her dogs. Madeline is the Student Body Parliamentarian and is ready to have a great last year at Texas High.
