Student Council won several awards at the District 19 Spring Forum in Ore City. More than 400 students representing 25 schools across East Texas were present.
Texas High ran for and won the District Office of Treasurer and will be represented at the state convention in Arlington April 7-9, where they are running for the TASC office of vice president.
Texas High’s Student council was a sweepstake recipient for the following:
Outstanding Student Council: Student Chairperson Michael Stanley; Outstanding Community Service   Student Chairperson: John David Goins,  Co-chair Ben Norton; Outstanding DASH (Drug, Alcohol, Safety, Health): Student Chair Roshni Patel, Co-chair Whitney Jaynes; Outstanding Pride and Patriotism: Student Chair Morgan Norfleet, co-chair Brianna Sellers; Outstanding Energy and Environment: Student Chair Chris Courson, co-chair John David Goins.
