Outside the horticulture building, freshman Brianna Terry helps prepare flowers for their spring sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The horticulture program will be hosting their yearly Spring Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the horticulture building.

At the sale, customers can buy ferns, flowers, tomatoes and more. Prices range from $1 for a small plant to $22 for a flat of flowers containing 32 small plants.

All the plants were grown and cared for by the horticulture students and proceeds will help fund next year’s program.

“It helps students become involved in the business end of horticulture and the planting and carrying of plants” horticulture teacher Blake Simmons said.

For more information, contact Blake Simmons or Kaye Ramirez at (903) 794-3891, ext. 2242. Download the price list.
