Walking through the glass doors of the cafeteria, the school has been honored the convenience of a Red River Federal Credit Union kiosk for that past few years. Allowing students to not only utilize the banking service, but also accepting a few DECA workers part time during lunch.

Everyone sees the expedient booth and are often given rewards of free pencils and chapstick. Changing gears, the bank has recently announced a new promotion to be held until the Jan. 31 for any student who opens a new Varsity Club Account. Once an account is open, the student’s name will go into a drawing for a wireless phone speaker.

“We are giving away phone speakers to two students,” Business Development and Student Services Coordinator Brittney Burton said, “from now until the end of January.”

The drawings will take place on Feb. 2. There is only one entry per person and no purchase is necessary.
