Texas High is hosting a LifeShare blood drive Jan. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Jan. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The drive will be held in the Tiger Center.
Sign up will be during all lunches in the days prior. Anyone 16 years or older, and are in good health, can participate. Students that are 16 need a permission slip signed by a guardian to be eligible for donation.
Picture identification is required, so please bring an ID on the day of donation. LifeShare recommends a good meal and increased fluids before giving blood, as well as knowing all the medications taken. Donors will receive a “Make Your Resolution Matter” t-shirt and free snacks.
