The Tiger Theatre Company’s UIL One Act Play troupe’s competition season is quickly approaching. The public performance of “Silenced on Barbour Street” will be held March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Sullivan Performing Arts Center. All admission is free.

“Out of all the shows I’ve done for Texas High theatre, UIL definitely takes the most rehearsal hours,” senior Brennon Cope said. “We are up there practicing practically everyday for at least two hours, perfecting each scene to the best of our ability. It takes a lot of dedication and stamina to keep up.”

The UIL OAP competitions start with the district competition March 8 at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center.
