The Texas High Tiger Theatre Company is preparing to host its third annual Drama Day Camp, an event hosted by students every year in which kids from kindergarten to sixth grade can come and learn about theater for a day. The event will be Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $40 per child, and only $20 for every additional child from each family.

“It’s a fun way for your child to learn more about theater,” Director Melissa Newton said. “The money raised will help support our International Thespian Society community service initiatives.”

The day serves as a parents’ day out before the winter holidays and a way for children to become involved in the arts.

“This year’s camp is holiday themed, and we know the students will have a great time,” Newton said. “In addition, parents can use their free time to get a little shopping done.”
