Ray Lewis and the Ravens will win in New England

Even if you’re not a fan, this isn’t a game you want to miss.

On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens will travel to New England to try to knock off the Patriots. The Ravens are coming off of a huge upset in overtime against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, while the Patriots ran all over the Houston Texans last week. This game will feature one of the top offenses in the game against one of the greatest defenses.

Future Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis will lead the Ravens into what might be his last game. Lewis has led the Ravens on defense this postseason with 30 total tackles and two for a loss. Lewis and the defense will be playing with a lot of intensity and emotion.

The strong point for the Patriots is their offense. Quarterback Tom Brady is coming off an impressive passing performance in which he totaled 344 yards and three touchdowns. Young running back Stevan Ridley has been an excellent red zone rusher this season and will probably continue to be in this game. This offense is tough to stop.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco could be the difference in this game. He’s played well to this point in the postseason, but he has been inconsistent at times. If head coach John Harbough is able to get the running game going and gives Flacco some easy throws, the Ravens could pull it out. The New England defense isn’t one that can dominate the game. The Ravens just have to exploit them.

The Ravens have good coaching and a strong defense. The Patriots have experience and an explosive offense. But the team with the intensity, emotion and momentum will pull out the win.

My prediction: Patriots- 35; Ravens- 41
