At the annual showoff event, dancers across the HighStepper team perform a variety of dances for their peers, teachers and family members. The event serves as a way for the team to gain a stronger sense of comfortability in regards to performing in front of a crowd before contest day.

As students across Texarkana Independent School District learned that school would be canceled for another day, the effects of continued inclement weather in the area prove to extend beyond the academic setting. To ensure safety of students, parents and coaches, the Texas High School cheer team and drill team postponed their informational meeting.
