Halloween is a time of spooks and good times. People dress up as anything their heart desires, hayrides are ridden, pumpkins are carved, haunted houses are created and a sense of magic is in the air.
Most people have one thing that they love most about Halloween.
“I get to dress up,” junior Alicity Quick said. “One of my favorite costumes was when I was a giant baby.”
For some, their favorite aspect of Halloween are playing pranks on people.
“I turn my porch light on and leave candy by the door,” Reed said. “As soon as someone comes on my porch, I turn the light off.”
People obviously have different ways of getting into festivities; however, one of Halloween’s most cherished qualities is the candy. Snickers, Jolly Ranchers and Jaw Breakers give out cavities one wrapper at a time, but no one feels any regret because it’s Halloween.
After performing a favorite Halloween candy survey of 35 students, results show that many love peanut butter treats and of course, candy corn.
