The blood drive hosted by LifeShare Blood Centers will be held in the Tiger Center today and tomorrow from 8:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. Volunteer blood donors must be 16 or older and in good health. If the student is 16, they must bring the Minor Donor Permit signed by a parent when they donate. There are height and weight restrictions for donors, as well. Donors must show an ID containing given name and one of the following: birth date, blood center assigned donor or photo. Students must pass the physical and health history examination given prior to donation. It is highly suggested to eat a healthy meal as well as drinking 16 ounces of water 10-30 minutes before donating. Refreshments will be provided for students where they must stay at least 15 minutes following the donation.
