The varsity boys basketball team will take on Marshall in the bi-district playoff game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hughes Springs High School.

“I feel like Coach has prepared us for this game,” junior Caleb Arnold said. “I think we’re going to go out there and execute the game plan.”

Arnold said the team would have to focus on offensive and defensive rebounds, ball control and dribbling up and down the court, while their height advantage and strong bench would work in the team’s favor.

“We have a lot of players who can play, so we’ll be alright,” Arnold said.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

“I feel like we’re a little bit better than last year,” Arnold said. “This year we’ve got some experience on the team, so we’ll definitely be better than last year.”
